Thank you for applying to become an Associate Consultant (AC) for Excel Management & Business Solutions (EMBS). We are a fast expanding consultancy company, concentrating on the United Kingdom & Ireland, therefore it is necessary for us to build up our personnel database. At first your assignments may be sporadic, depending upon our clients' requests. Therefore, you may have to wait a while before you are given an assignment In order to become an AC, you must agree to our Summary of Terms. We will need to know how far you are willing to travel from your home address and if you have independent means of transport. There will also be some demographic questions that we need to ask, so that we are able to match shoppers with our clients' retailing profile. A typical assignment may involve:
- Receipt of reporting formats
- Reviewing and understanding instructions
- Visiting the retailing establishment
- Taking on the role of a customer
- Observing sales, service, and customer care techniques
- Merchandising and Promotional work
- Returning the completed reporting formats to us by the due date The AC will return all expense receipts to EMBS, with the written report of the assignment, this will be completed via email, all ACs must have email and computer access. The shopper must agree that all records, files and reports and other documents relating to EMBS and their clients' business, which the AC shall use, prepare or come into contact with, during or as a result of, a shopping assignment, shall remain the sole property of EMBS. In providing services to EMBS, the AC acknowledges that he/she will not disclose, to any individual or business, information concerning EMBS methods, trade practices, evaluation of results or any information deemed by EMBS to be confidential. The AC will also acknowledge that they act as a consultant in respect of the assignments that they undertake for EMBS and accept that EMBS will not deduct PAYE or National Insurance from the fees paid. All ACs are entirely responsible for declaring their earnings to the Inland Revenue. Due to the confidential nature of the industry, at least two references will be required, which will be verified. The shopper must agree that, at the commencement of their employment with EMBS, they will participate in any training program that the company deems necessary for the AC to attain the professional standards required.
